Direct Primary Care (DPC)
Old-fashioned care meets modern medicine
DPC is an innovative model of healthcare delivery. The doctor has an arrangement directly with the patient to supply primary care services for an affordable monthly membership fee. At Clear Health Direct Primary Care we do not accept any insurance for payment, we work for the patient and not the insurance company. We strive to handle most medical issues in the office and online, including minor procedures, while minimizing specialist referrals. Patients also get significant savings on medications, labs and imaging. How can a clinic function on such a low membership fee? Turns out most doctors love investing time to care for patients and there are over 1200 DPC practices operating successfully across the country.

Already have health insurance?
This is what works best with Clear Health
The best type of insurance for direct primary care (DPC) patients is typically a high-deductible, low premium health insurance plan paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA). This combination allows patients to cover major medical expenses while still benefiting from the cost-effective and comprehensive primary care offered by DPC. The HSA can be used to pay for DPC fees and other qualified medical expenses, providing tax advantages and flexibility in managing healthcare costs. Our care never charges a co-pay, and your deductible is irrelevant. We accept FSA and HSA cards for our monthly fees, discuss with your HR rep or accountant for details.
A health share program is a healthcare financing option where members contribute a monthly amount into a shared pool (similar to a monthly premium). This pool of funds is then used to cover the medical expenses of the members. You submit your medical bills to the health share for reimbursement after your initial un-shareable amount (similar to a deductible). They are not insurance and not regulated like insurance, for example they can exclude certain pre-existing conditions and impose limitations on lifestyle decisions like smoking. Sedera and Zion Health are two great options for most people as they have inclusive policies. Check these links below to see sample pricing tables and compare them to traditional insurance options.
